Life outside Dhamma.
How strange to find ourselves living in a world where not eating
meat and having a deep respect for all beings is considered almost a mental
illness.
Where kindness and compassion can be thought of as a weakness.
Where tolerance and acceptance can be manipulated to be
understood as the doorways to occupation and loss of freedom.
Where love is a word freely used in spiritual language, but not
really relevant in daily life.
How strange to think fear is the natural response to every situation
and that solutions arrive only with destruction of the objects of that fear.
This is not the way of Dhamma and so ultimately will not endure.
The world outside Dhamma can argue and fight for the foolishness
of conflict, but it is only love that will bring a lasting peace so that all
beings will benefit.
Reflect upon these words:
Only love will heal the world and that love begins with you.
May all beings be happy.
