Compassion and Love Unfold

Witnessing his sufferings has inspired me to be more compassionate and minimize my materialistic needs. Having realized my own limitations, there is therefore a need for collective strength from the masses. And, in order to attain the level of Buddha’s compassion, we need to cherish every moment of peace and serenity. Deep from within our hearts can comes the light of hope, compassion and love unfold.

The scene of the old farmer in Beijing selling sweet potatoes in the cold winter made such a deep impression on me that I vowed to be compassionate and unfold my love for the poor suffering from hunger.
