The teachings of Ven Ajahn Chah
How does the Dhamma teach the proper way of life? It
shows us how to live. It has many ways of showing it - On rocks, or trees or
just in front of you. It is teaching but not in words. So still the mind, the
heart, and learn to watch. You'll find the whole Dhamma revealing itself here
and now. At what other time and place are you going to look?
With even a little intuitive wisdom we will be able to
see clearly through the way of the world. We will come to understand that
everything in the world is a teacher. Trees and vines, for example, can reveal
the nature of reality to us. With wisdom there is no need to question anyone,
no need to study. We can learn enough from nature to be enlightened.
